Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $2.5M sold at Pa. convenience store

If you recently purchased a Berks County scratch-off lottery ticket, congratulations may be in order.

According to a press statement from the Pennsylvania Lottery, a store in the area recently sold a $2.5 million-winning $120,000,000 Payout ticket.

The Redner’s Quick Shoppe, located at 8381 Allentown Pike in Maidencreek Township, will receive a $10,000 prize for selling the winning ticket.

Scratch-off rewards expire one year from the game’s end-of-sale date, which is stated on palottery.com. Winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and contact the Lottery at 800-692-7481.

Scratch-off tickets are dispersed randomly, so lottery administrators and retailers have no idea where the winning tickets will be sold. Only after an award claim does the Pennsylvania Lottery become aware of a winning ticket.

The 120,000,000 Payout game provides five top prizes totaling $2,500,000, excluding withholding. It costs $30 to play.
