Two men are facing felony property damage charges after a woolly mammoth tusk shattered at Top of the Rock near Branson, according to officials.
Brett Howard and Todd Azevedo of California are facing felony property damage charges.
According to investigators, Howard climbed Azevedo’s shoulders and attempted to hang on a woolly mammoth skeleton’s tusks. The tusk fell to the ground and shattered. The tusk weighed about 200 pounds and was valued at roughly $200,000.
