A man wanted for attempted murder and burglary in Semmes, Alabama, was arrested without incident Saturday night in a Mississippi restaurant. Employees at Newk’s Eatery in Magee detained Ronald Graham after reporting a suspicious person making “strange statements” near the trash.
Officers from the Magee Police Department responded to the Newk’s call about 9:37 p.m. on June 15. When I spoke with Graham, I discovered he had active felony warrants for attempted murder, first-degree domestic abuse, and first-degree burglary. Semmes authorities had earlier issued a warning that Graham was armed and dangerous, and his whereabouts were unknown.
The accusations against Graham originate from an incident in Semmes, Alabama, where a bullet struck a woman on Hi Wood Circle. Authorities said the bullet grazed the woman’s skull, but she is expected to recover.
Graham is now being held by the Magee Police Department and is awaiting extradition to Alabama to face the allegations.
