A drug trafficking investigation in Montgomery County has resulted in several arrests, according to authorities.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted various traffic stops on Tuesday, resulting in the arrests of three people. Julian Piersawl, 29, Keisha Powell, 37, and James Brown, 37, are all accused of trafficking fentanyl and collaborating in organized crime.
During a separate traffic stop, deputies apprehended Donald Chaplin, age 63. He was charged with driving under the influence and trafficking methamphetamine.
Officials said the arrests are part of a larger effort to tackle illegal drug activity in the town.
