A Maryland Lottery player won $1 million with a scratch-off ticket purchased at a Royal Farms in Forest Hill.
The player, who has been playing lottery games for over 30 years, had previously won $50,000 twice and $10,000 just weeks before, according to lottery authorities. He utilized the earnings from previous tickets that day to purchase more scratch-offs before winning the grand prize.
The winner stated that he intends to use the money to pay off his mortgage and set away funds for his children. The Royal Farms store that sold the ticket will get a $1,000 prize.
