A Villager traveling in a golf cart was apprehended near the Orange Blossom Hills Country Club on The Villages’ Historic Side.
Lucretia Merry Hewson, 50, of 1728 Myrtle Beach Drive, was on a golf cart with a companion when they were pulled over early Saturday, according to an arrest record from the Lady Lake Police Department. Officers found her in possession of 0.38 grams of methamphetamine and a blue straw. She was detained for drug possession and drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Lake County Jail and released after posting a $3,500 bond.
