A recent theft at the Houston Premium Outlets resulted in the arrest of a individual named Kiran Raparthu. Employees at the Sunglass Hut reported a shoplifting incident last Sunday, prompting deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office to respond, according to a statement on the precinct’s Facebook page. Raparthu was accused of concealing a pair of sunglasses for $563 and attempting to leave the business without paying.

Constable deputies swiftly located the offender and arrested him. The officials were successful in recovering the stolen merchandise, which was then returned to the business. Constable Mark Herman was cited as saying, “Kiran Raparthi was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for theft.” His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 13, according to the office of Constable Mark Herman.
