Deputies Arrested 3 Philadelphia Women At Miami International Airport

Three women were charged on Monday after deputies apprehended them at Miami International Airport amid a confrontation with Frontier employees as they attempted to travel home to Philadelphia.

According to deputies, Nafisa Dockery, Davana Cochran, and Dionjana Cochran refused to pay for a carry-on bag while waiting to board flight F9-1204 on Sunday night.

“We don’t have to listen; let’s just go,” Dockery, 30, instructed Davana and Dionjana Cochran, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

Deputies said Dockery, Davana Cochran, 26, and Dionjana Cochran, 21, refused to evacuate despite Frontier officials’ warnings that they were not allowed to board the plane.

Frontier staff told deputies that the women’s boarding cards had been rejected, their tickets had been revoked, and they were trespassing, according to the M-DSO deputy’s arrest report.

According to the arrest report, M-DSO deputies evacuated the plane, resulting in a delay of approximately an hour.

Deputies said Dockery “spat on” a Frontier employee as she walked off the plane.

Dockery and Cochran “refused to comply” with deputies’ orders after getting off the plane, resulting in a “brief struggle” during their arrests, according to authorities.

Dockery and Davana Cochran were arrested about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, while Dionjana Cochran was booked soon after 4:10 a.m. on Monday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

The three women were charged with resisting arrest and trespassing following a warning. Dockery also had to charge his battery.
