Man apprehended after jumping on top of a semi and fire truck in Cleveland

A man jumped on top of a Cleveland Fire Department fire truck and a semi Tuesday morning.

According to Cleveland Fire Lt. Mike Norman, a call came in at 6:42 a.m. for a “man down,” but when Engine 2 arrived, the man got up and rushed up the Ontario exit ramp from I-90, jumping into a semi between the cab and the trailer.

The truck driver came to a stop, and the man hopped out and raced across a grassy area to the fire vehicle at E. 9th Street and Ontario Avenue.

He then got on top of the fire vehicle and started leaping up and down.

Cleveland police responded by bringing the man back to the ground.

The man’s name has not been revealed.
