U.S. Marshals offering $1.5K reward for man sought for murder in Mississippi

The United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward of up to $1,500 in the search for a man wanted for murder in Mississippi.

Detreka Thomas, 26, is wanted in Greenwood, Mississippi, on a murder charge.

He is charged with the fatal shooting of Accardo Willis on April 1, 2024, in Greenwood, Mississippi.

On April 9, 2024, the Greenwood Police Department requested assistance from the US Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in identifying and apprehending Thomas.

The United States Marshals Service and other organizations discovered that Thomas routinely visits the Memphis area.

Thomas is 5’7″ and weighs 160 pounds; he is regarded as armed and dangerous.

The US Marshals Service is promising up to $1,500 for any information that could lead to Thomas’ arrest.
