A resident of Spruce Creek South was apprehended with glass pipes after being pulled over for driving with a suspended license.
An officer on patrol passed by a black Nissan Frontier parked in the driveway of a residence on Devon Drive in The Villages at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Heather Oliver Jurgensen, 57, the registered owner, was standing on the adjacent driveway.
A check of the truck’s tag found that her license had been suspended as of March 5, and she had two previous convictions for driving with a suspended license: in February 2024 and January 2013. So the cop parked down the street to keep watch. According to the report, the pickup then departed the property and turned left onto Dustin Drive.
After halting the truck at Tarrson Boulevard, the officer discovered Jurgensen in the driver’s seat. An inventory of her vehicle discovered two glass pipes with residue, thought to have been used to consume crack cocaine, under a pillow Jurgesen was seated on. The report also stated that a brown paper bag with a Chore Boy brillo pad was found between the front passenger seat and the center console.
Jurgensen was arrested on allegations of driving with a suspended license (third or subsequent offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Lake County Jail, and bond was set at $3,500.
