Law enforcement officers in Florida are searching for a woman who allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from homeowner associations while working as a property management bookkeeper.
According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Alexandra Delacaridad Gonzalez used her HOA accounts to write payments to herself.

According to investigators, she created fake invoices and ledger entries to conceal the crimes, as well as reportedly forging the signatures of authorized account holders.
Using subpoenaed information, investigators discovered that the stolen cash was utilized for personal needs such as shopping, plastic surgery, and travel.
Avant-Garde Property Management employed Gonzalez as a property manager, according to MCSO.
According to the sheriff’s office, the current victims include the Whitemarsh Reserve Homeowners Association and the Dunes of Hutchinson Island.
Warrants have been issued for:
- Two counts of fraud exceeding $50,000
- Two counts of grand theft
- Sixty-one counts of uttering false instruments
- Fifty-nine counts of embezzlement
Her total bail amount has been set at $1,350,000.
Investigators believe Gonzalez is in the Miramar or Vero Beach area.
