An Upstate New York resident has won the $5 million top prize in the New York Lottery’s 200 Extra scratch-off game.
Daniel Jeffries of Troy elected to receive his prize in one lump sum payment of $2,200,386 after required withholdings. He bought the winning ticket from Stewart’s Shops on 10 Sweetmilk Creek Road in Troy.
Three top prizes are still available on the 200 Extra scratch-off game. New York Lottery scratch-off games generated $4,339,794,048 in total sales during fiscal year 2024-2025.
Players can check the status of any game by obtaining the Game Report from NYLottery. ny.gov. Rensselaer County school districts received Lottery Aid to Education grants of $35,396,456 for the same time period.
