2 People Arrested On Drug, Warrant Charges After Traffic Stop On U.S. 250

A routine traffic stop on April 7 led to the arrest of two people on multiple charges near the Harrison-Tuscarawas county line.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, deputies performed a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 250 around 2:30 a.m. Two individuals were charged with additional offenses and arrested on outstanding warrants during the stop.

Nicole Shundry, 36, of Canton, the vehicle’s driver, is charged with driving while suspended due to an OVI, drug paraphernalia, and multiple outstanding warrants.

Celiena Robinson, 28, of Sebring, a passenger in the vehicle, is charged with possession of drugs in large quantities, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments, obstructing justice, and having an outstanding nationwide warrant.

Sheriff Mark Touville praised deputies for their efforts, saying they help keep harmful substances out of the Harrison County community.
