The remains of a 46-year-old woman were discovered in a field on private land near Riverside Drive in Dublin.

A spokesperson for the City of Dublin confirmed the remains’ identity as Rachael Morgan.

According to the police report, on March 25, a man called 911 after discovering what “he believed to be a decomposing human body” while searching for arrowheads in the region.

Police discovered the remains in bushes about 300 feet east of Riverside Drive. The body had rotted, and only the bones remained.

Police discovered various items, including women’s undergarments and a sock for the left foot.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office reported no clear evidence of trauma, according to the city.
