This Friday’s prediction isn’t looking good for several US states.
On Friday morning, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for California, Oregon, and Nevada, among other states. This alert will be in effect throughout the evening.
“Thunderstorms with isolated large hail and severe gusts are possible this afternoon and evening across parts of the south-central Plains to the Ozarks,” the National Weather Service said. “Strong to locally severe storms may also occur from western/northern Nevada into southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho, and also across parts of north-central California.”
Here are the six states that may be affected by Friday’s severe weather:

- Nevada
- Oklahoma
- Oregon
- Texas
