Oklahoma City police officers have arrested one individual in connection with a tragic hit-and-run crash on Sunday, April 12, at 10:00 a.m.
OKCPD reports Deawna Jones, 30, was spotted arguing with Taisha Dale, 39, in a neighborhood around NW 104th Street and Middlesbrough Lane.
Investigators suspect Jones intentionally ran over Dale and fled the scene.
Dale was found on the road and transferred to a neighboring hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Jones was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and fleeing the scene of an injury accident.
Jones had previously faced four DUI convictions in Oklahoma, as well as a second-degree forgery allegation.
