Police apprehended a man after he allegedly made indecent gestures and comments to an underage girl inside a gas station in Kanawha City.
According to the Charleston Police Department, Austin Davis of Florence, Kentucky, had not been in the region for a lengthy period of time prior to the event.
According to police, Davis was previously wanted in Floyd County, Indiana, for a probation violation after being convicted of an offense similar to grand larceny.
After learning of Davis’ whereabouts, Floyd County officials expanded their extradition request to include West Virginia.
The initial event is still being investigated, and if the findings show that criminal charges are necessary, Davis will also face prosecution in West Virginia.
