Over $605K Worth Of Cocaine Seized From Passenger Vehicle At Texas Border

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Texas earlier this month seized over $605,000 worth of cocaine that was hidden in a passenger vehicle.

On April 6, CBP officials at the Pharr International Bridge in the Hidalgo Port of Entry referred a Chrysler 200 for a secondary examination using nonintrusive technology and canines.

A physical search revealed 19 packages containing 45.37 pounds of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of $605,792.

CBP seized the narcotics, and Homeland Security Investigations special agents began their investigation.
