According to Orange County deputies, they have discovered the body of a man who went missing after going fishing earlier this week.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reports that they discovered the body of 75-year-old Willie Lewis at Barnett Park after a search. Lewis was reported missing after failing to return home from fishing on Tuesday.
Deputies rushed to Barnett Park about 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday after receiving the report. Authorities initiated a search operation with dive crews and a sheriff’s office helicopter.
Officials have not given any other information about Lewis’ death. The investigation is underway.
