A body was discovered Monday morning in the framework of an Ohio Turnpike bridge, prompting police to launch an investigation.
According to CBS affiliate WTOL, a bridge inspector discovered the body during an inspection just west of the state Route 2 intersection in Swanton Township.
Troopers did not specify how long the body had been there.
The deceased’s identity is pending an autopsy by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
