NYPD seeks public assistance in identifying suspects in Brooklyn subway robbery and assault

The NYPD is searching for a suspect in a robbery that occurred at the Flushing Avenue subway station in Brooklyn. According to an NYPD Crimestoppers social media post, a 26-year-old woman was attacked while boarding a Manhattan-bound train on June 14 at approximately 1:02 a.m.

The unidentified assailant allegedly grabbed the victim’s handbag before forcing her to the ground and attacking her with repeated blows to the face and head, causing minor injuries.

The NYPD 90th Precinct is conducting the investigation and has provided this material to seek public assistance in getting leads. Individuals with information about the case are asked to contact Crimestoppers by direct messaging or by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All tips will remain anonymous.
