“Vanna” Tagged: Bartow Woman Detained For Fort Fraser Trail Vandalism

A Bartow woman has been arrested after a weekend defacement of the iconic Fort Fraser Trail. She is accused of causing over $1,000 in damage through extensive graffiti.

On Saturday morning, June 21st, a Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputy began an inquiry into damage reported on the scenic trail. Graffiti damaged two bridges, sections of the route, and several railings, with damages expected to reach $1,000.

During the first inquiry, the deputy spoke with two witnesses, who identified the accused culprit as 30-year-old Bartow resident Irvanna Lynn Olmstead, also known as “Vanna.”

Some of the painted graffiti specifically said “Irvanna,” supporting the witnesses’ accusations and immediately linking the suspect to the crime.

Following the lead, the deputy went to a house frequented by Olmstead. Authorities discovered paint that was identical to the paint used in the graffiti on the path.

Irvanna Lynn Olmstead was then arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the Polk County Jail. She is charged with felony criminal mischief.
