A 35-year-old man is charged with three counts of aggravated assault in connection with a gunshot earlier this month in South Memphis that injured three individuals, two of whom were teenagers, according to documents.
According to records, Johnathan Miller of Memphis was detained on Sunday in connection with the June 14 shooting on East Norwood Avenue. According to court documents, the people who were shot informed authorities that they had an argument with Miller about $30.
Court documents state that a gunfight broke out before any shots were fired.
The MPD previously reported that they shot a 27-year-old man and two teenage boys, ages 14 and 15. One of the teenagers sustained critical injuries, while the other’s injuries were not life-threatening.
