A 24-year-old Kissimmee man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly tossing a soda can at a moving vehicle after a road rage incident, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Raul Edwardo Braddock-Toala was arrested Thursday on a second-degree felony charge of hurling a missile into a car and a third-degree felony charge of criminal mischief.

The incident began on March 3, when the victim, Allen Ellis, said that Braddock-Toala became confrontational after an unsuccessful effort to cut him off in traffic. When Ellis refused to yield, Braddock-Toala allegedly honked his horn, drove around him, and hurled numerous things, including a full soda can, at his vehicle, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Ellis provided dash camera footage and documented the license plate, allowing deputies to identify the suspect car as a 2011 Nissan SUV registered to Aadam Ali Syed.

During the investigation, Syed admitted throwing a Dibs Ice Cream snack at Ellis’ truck, but claimed it was in retaliation to Ellis reportedly throwing something first. Syed also identified Braddock-Toala as the passenger who tossed the Pepsi can.

Braddock-Toala was taken into Osceola County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
