Multiple suspects approached the victim, one brandishing a firearm and forcibly seizing her belongings.

Although the suspects fled, the victim was unharmed.

The cops made quick progress on the case. On Tuesday, they apprehended a 13-year-old boy for robbery.

He was charged with armed robbery with a gun and put into custody by court order.

While this arrest is a step forward, the investigation is still ongoing as authorities search for additional suspects.

The Metropolitan Police Department claimed that authorities are encouraging anyone with knowledge to come forward.

To assist in avoiding further violence and engaging the public, the Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to arrests and convictions in violent crimes. You can submit anonymous tips to the police by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting them to the MPD TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
