Chicago police reported that a couple was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint overnight in Boystown.
The victims, a 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were strolling in the 700 block of West Barry when four individuals approached them at 3:25 a.m., according to a CPD spokesperson.

One of the males brandished a weapon and demanded the couple’s belongings and car keys. According to authorities, the victims complied by handing up their valuables and the keys to their black Mercedes-Benz automobile.
CPD found the Mercedes about an hour later in an alley behind the 4300 block of West Jackson Boulevard. There were no injuries reported during the incident, and no suspects are in custody at the moment.
Police have not released a description of the robbers.
