During a routine traffic check on the North Freeway, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office apprehended Marcus McDay, a wanted felon. Early this morning, the officer stopped in the 16200 block of the North Fwy and identified the motorist as McDay. A further warrant search revealed that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Houston County.
According to Precinct 4’s official Facebook page, McDay was sought for Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit a Felony and has an open warrant for Terroristic Threat against a Family Member. According to the same source, the warrants were validated during the traffic check, which led to McDay’s arrest.
McDay is presently being held at the Harris County Jail, with bond set at $50,000.00. These data include bail considerations from two courts: County Court 4 and the 179th District Court.
