Police in Chicago are investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old woman on the city’s South Side Friday night.
Just after 9:30 p.m., police responded to a complaint about a person being shot in the 5400 block of South Prairie Avenue.

Firefighters also came and discovered the woman with a gunshot wound to her head.
She was pronounced dead on the scene. Her identity was not revealed as of Saturday.
It is unclear what caused the incident.
No more information was available. According to police, no one is in jail.
Area 1 detectives are conducting an investigation.
