A 29-year-old La Marque man was arrested Tuesday by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office on multiple outstanding felony warrants, including charges related to crimes against a child, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Camron Dewayne Hollenshead was apprehended without incident on June 24 in the 400 block of Volney Street by officers of the department’s Fugitive Apprehension Division.
According to the release, Hollenshead had four outstanding felony warrants when he was arrested. Among the charges mentioned were:
- Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled
- Indecency with a Child.
According to the sheriff’s office, the arrest demonstrates Sheriff Jimmy Fullen’s continuous commitment to proactive policing and the removal of dangerous persons from Galveston County’s streets.
