Man Taken Into Custody In Accidental Shooting Of 10-year-old

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the accidental shooting of a 10-year-old child in Cincinnati.

Kenuel Collins-Ferrell is being jailed without bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a misdemeanor charge of negligent assault.

He was put into jail at 1:42 a.m. Friday and is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Police responded to a report of a kid being accidentally shot at a home on Woodbriar Lane in West Price Hill around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Lt. Jonathan Cunningham, a police spokesman, said the child’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Although Collins-Ferrell’s arrest paperwork states that he lives at the residence, court records do not specify the guy’s relationship to the victim.
