U.S. Marshals located and arrested wanted murder suspect Omeed Yahya Esmail, 39, on Tuesday in New York City for the March homicide of Joseph Williams, 65, at his Red Roof hotel room at Claridge Drive. Williams was found lifeless in the bathtub after staying there with Esmail for the previous two months.
HThe homicide unit officers continued to investigate the circumstances of his death, and they discovered Esmail was the last person to be with Williams in the room on March 15th, before his body was discovered days later by a motel employee.

Esmail will be returned to Nashville shortly, where he will be arrested on an outstanding criminal homicide warrant.
