Police: Man Suffers Heart Attack While Driving And Dies After Collision In Fox Chase

A man died in a car crash in Fox Chase on Saturday evening.

A deadly car collision occurred near Oxford Avenue and Burholme Avenue at about 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.

According to authorities, preliminary results indicate that the driver of a vehicle experienced a medical emergency, thought to be a heart attack, and collided with another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.

Medics rushed the driver to Jeanes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m.

The police have not revealed any details about the driver of the struck automobile.

The victim hasn’t been named.
