Police: Woman Detained Following Kicking Police Officer And Trespassing Into Several Homes In Colorado Springs

The Colorado Springs Police Department reported on Monday that they apprehended a woman who had trespassed into several homes and kicked an officer.

Police said they arrived on Crown Ridge Drive, north of Old Colorado City, at 11 a.m. after discovering that a lady had illegally entered many properties. They stated that the homeowners removed the woman after she had entered three homes.

The police identified the woman as a resident of a nearby property.

The police assert that during the woman’s detention, she inflicted a leg injury on an officer.

The woman, Lora Sibley, was arrested and lodged into the Colorado Criminal Justice Center for felony assault and trespassing.
