Missing non-verbal teenage with autism last seen in Silver Spring found in DC

UPDATE 7/14: In an update, Montgomery County police said Holt was found in D.C. Sunday.

The Montgomery County Department of Police has issued a Purple Alert for a missing nonverbal teen girl with autism.

According to police, Keylijah Love Paulet Holt was last seen Sunday at 9:30 a.m. near the 8600 block of 16th Street in Silver Spring.

Holt is described as a 15-year-old girl with brown eyes and black hair in cornrows, standing 5’4″ tall and weighing 145 pounds. She was last spotted wearing blue wide-leg jeans and a white t-shirt featuring a Jason mask on the front.

Anyone with knowledge on her whereabouts is asked to contact 911.

Police encourage the public to approach someone with autism quietly and slowly, speaking in a comforting and gentle tone, and to stay with them until police arrive.
