The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) initiated an investigation after discovering a man and woman dead inside a Southeast D.C. home on Saturday.
At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4600 block of G Street.

There, a man and a woman were discovered dead, both from gunshot wounds. Police said a weapon was also found at the scene.
According to authorities, there is no suspect, and detectives believe the shooting was the result of “a domestic dispute.”
Police say the victims were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the event.
