A 46-year-old Annapolis man was arrested Tuesday after Anne Arundel County Police officers seized a large amount of illegal drugs, cash, and paraphernalia from a home in the 1500 block of Lodge Pole Court.
Officers executed a search warrant at the residence on July 8, 2025, as part of an Eastern District narcotics investigation into suspected drug dealing that began in June. According to police, the operation yielded about 17 grams of suspected cocaine, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 790 grams of suspected anabolic steroids in 19 vials, 11 grams of an unknown white material, a digital scale, and $39,850 in cash.
The suspect, Robert Lee Deaton III, was apprehended at the scene and charged with several drug-related felonies, including two felony counts of possession with intent to distribute and misdemeanor charges of drug possession and paraphernalia.
According to court documents, Deaton was first held on a $5,000 corporate bond that was posted on the same day he was arrested. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 6 in Annapolis Circuit Court.
The case is still under investigation.
