A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized following a shooting in Fourth Ward.
Police said officers were dispatched to Allen Parkway near Park Vista Drive around 2 a.m. Saturday.

When authorities arrived, they discovered a 16-year-old shot multiple times.
He was rushed to the hospital and was in stable condition.
Police were investigating what caused the gunshot, but they believe the 16-year-old got caught in the middle of a shootout.
“Our victim happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time,” said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.
No suspect information had been released.
