A Dallas man is facing many charges, including three counts of child endangerment, for leading Terrell police on a chase with three young children in his vehicle.

Around 8:11 a.m., the Terrell Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of S Virginia Street.
The suspect, 27-year-old Eddie Jenkins of Dallas, initially stopped and then fled the area, leading cops on a pursuit. The pursuit continued into Terrell’s city boundaries, eventually coming to an end near the intersection of Ross and Laurel Trail North.
Three juveniles, aged two to five, occupied the vehicle during the pursuit.
Jenkins was taken into prison without incident.
He is being held on various warrants issued by the Garland, Flower Mound, and Allen Police Departments, as well as fresh accusations of unauthorized carrying of a firearm, fleeing arrest, detaining with a vehicle, and three counts of abandoning/endangering a child with intent, knowing, reckless, and criminal negligence.
