Police are probing a deadly shooting outside a north suburban hotel parking lot.
The shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Marriott Hotel at 50 N. Martingale Road, according to Schaumburg police.
Police arrived to a report of a woman shot. She was taken to Lutheran General Hospital and eventually died.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Christine Moyer, 45, of Galena, Ohio.
A suspect was arrested at the scene, according to Schaumburg police.
According to police, the victim and suspect knew each other.
A gun was found at the scene.
The incident caused no other injuries, according to police.
