Missing Bedford County Woman Found Safe

UPDATE: The woman was found safe, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office

Original: The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in finding a missing woman.

Deputies describe Aleshia White, 34, as having burgundy hair and hazel eyes, standing 5’6″, and weighing 180 pounds. She has a septum piercing, a piercing on the right side of her nose, and multiple tattoos, including a sun on her right hand, a butterfly on her right arm, and an owl on her upper left arm, deputies say.

Deputies say she was last seen leaving her Thaxton, VA, home on Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m., driving her gold 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. Deputies report that stickers cover the back window of the Chevrolet.

According to deputies, she has medical ailments that require medicine, and she has been without it for several weeks.
