A woman is facing a kidnapping charge after allegedly entering a metro daycare center and trying to lead a toddler out, according to police.
Officers said Tracy Zahl entered the daycare without permission and was confronted by workers when asked why she was there. According to the narrative, Zahl replied, “I was sent by God.”

According to police, Zahl then sought to entice a two-year-old child to follow her out of the building. A teacher intervened, bringing the child back to the classroom.
According to the investigation, Zahl followed another group of children into a different room before being asked to leave the premises.
Zahl was eventually apprehended by authorities at her house and charged with kidnapping.
The case is still under investigation.
