D.C. police made an arrest in connection with a domestic stabbing that left a man dead in Southwest D.C. on July 26.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to a domestic dispute on Galveston Street around 6:40 a.m. They discovered an adult male, now identified as 63-year-old Robert Dent, with stab wounds.

First responders arrived and tried to save Dent’s life, but he died.
Officers later identified and detained Anna Hyman, 22, of Southeast D.C. She was detained and charged with second-degree murder while armed.
MPD stated that the matter is domestic.
