A guy was arrested after a traffic stop found drugs and a huge sum of cash on Wednesday evening in Brooklyn Park.
An Anne Arundel County police officer pulled over an Infiniti Q50 near Ritchie Highway and 10th Avenue in Brooklyn Park on July 30 at 5:05 p.m. for a driving infraction.
During the stop, the driver, 26-year-old Jekye Johnson of Brooklyn Park, consented to a vehicle search.
According to authorities, the search uncovered drugs inside the automobile, prompting further investigation.
More suspected drugs on Johnson’s person were discovered during an arrest search, including seven suspected Suboxone strips and 23 suspected Percocet pills.
During the arrest, police said they confiscated a considerable sum of money.
Johnson was arrested and charged with the appropriate offense.
