4 Pennsylvania Men Charged With Gun Possession And Drug Trafficking

Following a multi-agency investigation, Attorney General Dave Sunday stated that a man and three conspirators are facing prosecution for selling firearms and drugs to an undercover cop.

David Jefferies, 34, James Womack, 33, and Shelton Payne, 34, are all facing allegations of illegal firearm possession and narcotics trafficking. Jefferies, Womack, and Payne all have past convictions that prevent them from owning firearms. Andre Ellis-Barnes, 41, is also facing charges for allegedly distributing illegal narcotics to an undercover cop.

According to AG Sunday, during a recent search of Jefferies’ house, authorities discovered a Glock 9mm handgun and around 382 grams of fentanyl and black tar heroin.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force, as well as the police departments of North Huntingdon, Monessen, Rostraver, New Kensington, and Irwin, helped with the investigation.
