Deputies discovered drugs during a vehicle stop last Sunday, according to a social media post published on Friday by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped a vehicle leaving a house historically involved with drug trafficking and stolen cars.
A K-9 alerted deputies to the presence of drugs in the car, and officers searched it and discovered 178 fentanyl tablets, 116 grams of meth, and three morphine pills.
Danielle M. Young, 43, the driver, and Kimberly M. Barker, 27, the passenger, have each been charged with two counts of drug trafficking.
Young is being held on a $100,000 bond, while Barker is on a $25,000 bond.
The Kearney Police Department conducted a K-9 assist.
