A man was recently arrested in connection with a 2024 Central Florida homicide.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has filed further charges against the man in connection with a fatal shooting in North Tampa in June 2024.
On June 17, 2024, officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 3 p.m. reporting a shooting in the roadway between Regents Park Drive and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male dead on the site.
Terrance Robinson, 34, was previously arrested on July 23, 2024, for accessory after the fact in this homicide investigation.
Following a lengthy and ongoing investigation, additional evidence showed Robinson’s involvement prior to the shooting. As a result, he is now charged with murder for his involvement in the incident that resulted in the victim’s death.
Robinson was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on May 8th and later extradited to Hillsborough County.
Robinson was charged with robbery and first-degree felony murder.
“This individual thought he could avoid accountability, but our detectives remained relentless,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Violent acts like this will never be tolerated in Hillsborough County. I hope this arrest brings some measure of peace to the victim’s loved ones, knowing justice is being served.”
Local law enforcement reports that this is an ongoing inquiry.
