A woman was found deceased near Interstate 225 on Sunday night following a hit-and-run crash, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a reported auto-pedestrian crash near the northbound I-225 onramp at Colfax Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered the woman had died.
Investigators have identified no witnesses to the incident, and the motorist did not remain on the scene, according to police. Police did not specify when the crash occurred.
There is no information on the suspect or the suspicious vehicle, but officers are combing the area.

Two vehicles struck a man who attempted to cross the northbound lanes of the highway near Iliff Avenue on Saturday night. Police are collaborating with the drivers of those automobiles who remained at the scene.
