It doesn’t matter what grade you are, you should still start to plan your senior trip. Senior trips are a very important milestone for any graduating person transitioning from kid to adult. Spending that time with your friends or family, even alone is quality time that you will never forget. Going on a senior trip with friends is always a fun and exciting adventure, but going alone on a trip, especially somewhere very foreign such as a trip to Paris or Amsterdam can really let you get to know yourself outside of your daily life. Its a fun way to test out your independence. But, if you plan to go on a trip at all, It is highly recommended that it is well planned out and at least somewhat affordable. When it comes to where you should go, heres a list of a few great places to go on your senior trip. ” If I could, I’d travel to Ireland, because it seems cool” freshman Trevor Mumford said.

Scottland: People are friendly, food is interesting, and the sights are amazing. With what seems like a million castles to visit in Scotland there’s no reason why anyone wouldn’t want to visit there.” For walkers seeking a challenge, the West Highland Way passes through the park, while the mountains of Ben Lomond in Dunbartonshire and The Cobbler in the Arrochar Alps on the Cowal Peninsula attract most hikers. Less intrepid visitors can detour from the A82 to view the Falls of Dochard.” (Quote from wikipedia) A great thing to try to find in Scotland, is go to a Scottish Folklore show.

There is a national park visitor centre at the southern end of Loch Lomond, called Loch Lomond Shores in Balloch, which includes a visitor information centre at the most popular gateway to the park, as well as an aquarium, shops and restaurants.

Ireland: If you’re looking for a great place to relax and talk with friendly strangers in a pub, Ireland is the perfect place for you.

St. George: If you’re not looking to leave the state of Utah. This place is perfect to let loose and have fun in the sun with friends without breaking the bank.

Las Vegas: Not everything is about casinos and gambling, you can have fun in the heat and play with friends at some of the coolest hotels on the Vegas strip and shop to your hearts content!

Oregon: If you are a fan of the classically disliked twilight movie franchise, or even if you aren’t you can follow in the footsteps of the main character Bella Swan and hike for waterfalls (and vampires) while cliff jumping into bodies of water (also with vampires). Oregon is home to beautiful sights and great city life in Portland. You can whale watch or go on a hike at almost any time of the day.(If you’re not afraid of a little rain). But what you really need to ask yourself is what do I want to do, and if money wasn’t a big issue where would you want to go? ” I’d go somewhere in Europe ” sophomore Dilyn Morland said, when I asked him where he would go if he could go anywhere. Because if you really want something and you work hard to get it, you absolutely can do it!
