The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says that four men were apprehended following an undercover operation targeting adults who use the internet and social media platforms to seek sexual acts from minors.
The operation took place on July 30 and 31 and was carried out in collaboration with other agencies, including the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking/GANG Unit, the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, the Missouri City Police Department, the Richmond Police Department, and the Sugar Land Police Department.
The operation resulted in four arrests:
- Dominique Smith, 38. Charged with online solicitation of a minor.
- Hossam Hasan Farraq, 35. Charged with online solicitation of a minor, evading in a motor vehicle, unlawful carrying of a weapon.
- Luis Rodriguez, 36. Charged with online solicitation of a minor.
- Marc Anthony Fuentes, 33. Charged with online solicitation of a minor, possession of a controlled substance.
“Our top priority is the safety of our children,” said Sheriff Eric Fagan. “These arrests serve as a strong reminder that we will not tolerate those who attempt to exploit our youth. I’m proud of our team and grateful for our law enforcement partners who share this mission.”
